I am a Dad to two beautiful daughters, a 5 and 2 year old, and thank the man upstairs every day that they look like their mom.

I train as hard as I can so that in ten years I can be the scariest 5’3” ½ (the half inch matters!) 140 lb dad I can be in hopes of scaring off boys that think the same way I did. It is going to be a losing battle but we all need a reason to drive our training and I got mine.

I love to move, read and blast hip hop & rock when I’m lifting barbells or swinging kettlebells and I am hoping my little munchkins grow up to do the same. Other than long walks on the beach, my idea of a perfect day consists of training outside next to my wife and baby girls and eating some homemade food while lying on the ground and enjoying the sun. I am trying to teach my girls that being a good neighbour is one of the easiest ways to create positive change in the city they live in and if you are ever find yourself in California on a Friday, swing by for Family Fun Day and we can lift together in front of my home.

I have two missions in my life...

First, to raise two loving, strong willed, independent woman who live life like there are no boundaries and the second is to help as many people as possible fall in love with lifting heavy things and moving. It seems silly but training and movement are gateways to conquering the limits we put on ourselves and something as simple as picking up and putting down a weight over and over can change the world!

Coach, athlete, writer, podcaster. Scott Iardella is a strength and conditioning specialist, movement teacher, and physical therapist who’s been involved in the health and fitness industries for over 3 decades.

His unique movement approach and training continuum incorporates kettlebells with barbell lifts and progressions. He’s known for being an innovator and scientist in the area of strength and performance. His passion is helping people of all levels and backgrounds discover their physical potential through a foundation of strength.

He is a StrongFirst Level 2 kettlebell instructor, certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified sports nutritionist, and holds many other notable credentials related to his areas of specialization.

He’s the creator of RdellaTraining.com and “The Rdella Training Podcast” in iTunes.

He’s currently completing his 1st major book, “The Edge of Strength.”

Martine Kerr, SFG-TL - Dubai, UAE

With over 20 years of fitness industry experience, Martine has designed and delivered thousands of training programs for individuals and groups, helping all sorts of clients progress towards their health and fitness objectives.

Mac lover, instagrammer, video nerd, photoshop geek, graphic artist, MBA, marketing strategist, branding consultant, investment advisor, financial analyst, spreadsheet junkie, permanent student, strength, conditioning, movement, fitness & nutrition coach and kettlebell convert. In a nutshell, that’s Martine, indulging both right and left brains, balancing obsessive compulsion and attention deficit tendencies, striving for knowledge and improvement, practicing what she teaches and loving every bit of it.

Chris Lopez, SFGII, OSS, Editor - Toronto, CANADA

Chris Lopez is the Editor of KettlebellWorkouts.com.  He is a StrongFirst Level II Kettlebell Instructor, an Original Strength Instructor, a Master Turbulence Trainer and course conductor & developer for Darby Training Systems' Hardstyle Kettlebell Course.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a specialization in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and is a former varsity volleyball player.  Chris lives in Toronto, Ontario with his wife and their 5 children.

Geoff Neupert, CSCS, Co-Founder of Original Strength

Geoff has worked in the health and fitness industry since 1993 in various roles: Personal Trainer, Division 1 Strength & Conditioning Coach, owner and operator of his own training facilities, author, and presenter. Geoff is the co-founder of Original Strength Systems, the world’s fastest, easiest, and simplest movement restoration system. He is a former Master Kettlebell Instructor with StrongFirst and the RKC and is considered one of the nation’s top kettlebell instructors and is well-known for his cutting-edge kettlebell training programs.

Geoff has authored several books and programs including Kettlebell Strong, Kettlebell Muscle, and Kettlebell Burn; and has co-authored Original Strength and Original Strength Performance. He is well-known for his cutting-edge program design and has worked with people from all walks of life: From grandmothers to professional athletes and everyone in-between.

Aleks Salkin, SFG, SFB - Jerusalem, ISRAEL

Aleks Salkin is an StrongFirst-certified kettlebell instructor (SFG), StrongFirst-certified bodyweight Instructor (SFB), and Primal Move Fundamentals Instructor. He grew up scrawny, unathletic, weak, and goofy, until he was exposed to kettlebells and the teachings and methodology of Pavel in his early 20s. He is currently based out of Jerusalem, Israel and spends his time spreading the word of StrongFirst and calisthenics, and regularly writes about strength and health both on his website and as a guest author on other websites. Karen Smith, Master SFG

Coach, writer, entrepreneur, fitness expert and mom. It is Karen’s passion to empower, motivate and mentor others to reach their true potential, either in person or thru online distance coaching & program design.

She is a seasoned personal trainer and strength coach who travels the world instructing and certifying individuals of all ages and fitness levels from beginners to elite US military/Law enforcement. She was the fourth female to claim the title of Iron Maiden. Karen is based in Dallas, Texas but can be found teaching workshops in a different state most every other weekend. She specializes in Bodyweight Strength and Kettlebells. Karen has been a certified trainer for the past 15 years, but has been active in fitness since early childhood as a gymnast.
