Double KB Circuit Video

Believe it or not, I’m sitting in front of a campfire writing this on my laptop (connected to wi-fi) as Rozanne and I take our 5 kids camping for a few days.

We’re not that far from home at all (we’re about 30 minutes away, 15 minutes away if you take away traffic), but this is the FIRST TIME that either one of us has been camping – EVER.

We’re taking baby steps.

I brought my16kg kettlebell and put myself through a pretty good snatch and bodyweight workout earlier and now I’m about to enjoy some marshmallows that the kids are roasting for me.

Last week, I talked about one of my favourite double kettlebell workouts – If you didn’t read about it, you can get to it HERE – and today I have a brief video outlining the workout and how to structure it…..

Tomorrow, I’ll be doing some bodyweight training and some sprints – I found a great hill – so I’ll be back with more bodyweight training tips.

    Hey Chris:
    Love the double KB workouts!

Bought TT Kettlebell Revolution in January and love it. I am a father of 4 girls and at 42 I was staring at 250 pounds after the holidays and busting out of my 38 inch waste jeans. Not to menton my nine year old daughters soccer team was running circles around me.

I am now a kettlebell addict down to 206 pounds and 34 inch waist. I am currently in week 4 of Advanced Phase 2. I will be taking the challenge for the first time Saturday morning.

I love the structure of the program and am wonderng what you recommend at the end of phase 3. Currently using 35lb KBs, should I up the weight to 45 and start over? Or is there a point you recommend going back to?

Thanks for TT KB Revolution and all the ideas in the blog.

I’m a 42 year old father of four girls. After the Holidays, I was staring at 250 pounds on the scale, needed to buy new pants as I was busting out of my 38 inch waist pants, and my nne year olds soccer team was running circles around me.

I am now in week 4 of advanced phase 2, down to 206 pounds, a 34 inch waist, and I am completely re-energized.

What do you recommend at the end of the program? Increase to a 45lb KB and start over? I am usng 35lbs now. Or is there a level to go back to with a heavier weight?

Thanks for TT KB Revoluton and the great deas on the blog.

Kettle bells are great. I don’t use them as my primary form of exercise, but when I feel like I need to change it up, I throw in one or two of these workouts and I’m re-energized and ready to go for my next lifting session. I like the way this workout “pyramids” and you end with just cleans. Great workout!!!

    Hi Chris,

    I love this workout!
I’ve done it a few times with double 16KG kettlebells.
I really feel the burn in my forearms and I was very sore in my shoulders after my first time, which was last week.
I did the same workout yesterday, but I’m not sore today. I crushed my previous time with over 1 minute.
I think I will increase the rep range to 9-15-21 to make it even harder.

Thanks again for a great workout Chris!

    Cheers
