It’s a cold day in Toronto with the windchill around -25 degrees Celcius (which is 13 below 0 Fahrenheit). Pretty cold for riding a bike, but I somewhat enjoy being outside (regardless of the temperature) because I’ve found that I don’t have as severe a case of the "winter blahs" this year.
I think I can attribute that to me being outside in the fresh air almost everyday. Lots of Vitamin D, endorphin rushes of being on my bike and Toronto drivers going out of their way to roll down their windows to tell me how crazy I am to be riding a bike in this weather.
Anyway, I filmed a new Finisher Friday workout for you below.
This workout could possibly be the perfect workout as it covers all essential movements – an explosive hip extension, a squat pattern, an overhead press, a row and an explosive bodyweight movement. The only thing that I think may be missing is a 1-legged exercise.
I’ll be back on a regular posting schedule starting next week as life will start to get back to normal (whatever that is with 5 kids). Q gets his cast off, I’ve got a new daily schedule that I will be implementing and am feeling very motivated so productivity should be up!
Have a great weekend!

I love your Finisher Friday workouts! They’re not time intensive and can really get the job done. I’m working through the RKC Rite of Passage and once in a while, I’ll throw one of your finishers on top of that, which really kicks me in the glutes!
Thanks again!

at 60, i use many of your complexes to maintain muscle mass and not worrying about cardio i.e ”hampster on the threadmill workouts”
someday can you give us a chain type workout?

Wow! Thanks for all you do. I’ve been on your programs for only a week. I really respect your game. I am a trainer. Been in the business for about 20years now. I’ve walked out of seminars simply because the instructor/instructors did not walk what they preached, when it came to the form of an exercise. To me, form is everything. Man! You’ve got it! Thanks
for sharing.Keep up the good work.

Chris:
Another great finisher, thanks for sharing. Totally agree with the comment by Melkon too. So sad that many people feel they have to be a hampster on a wheel to get fit. It’s the big gyms that perpetuate that sort of thing and of course it rubs off on the masses.
Well and keep going strong

Great trainings. I always look forward to your links. One question, can you explain your breathing technique when you are doing these workouts. Thanks
