The BEST Shoes To Do Your Kettlebell Training In

I will never again wear “toe shoes” to train in.

I wore them to the beach one day a couple of summers ago to train some volleyball athletes and it started to rain.

They got wet.

And no matter how much I put them in the dryer, the washer, even the freezer, the smell was so strong it seared my nostril hairs every time I was within a 10 yard radius of them.

In addition to that, my wife threatened to discontinue relations with me if I ever wore them out in public.

Case closed.

No more “toe shoes” for me.

So I filmed today’s QnA to discuss acceptable options for training footwear that will preserve your sex life and still get you the results you want.

Also in today’s QnA video my wife drops a tray of muffins and screams like a banshee.

And if you’ve wondered about the chaos that occurs in my house for most of the day, then you can hear it all in this video – and still hear my voice clearly.

So, like I said, today we tackle…

1. The best shoes/footwear for kettlebell training.

2. How to get comfortable with the 24kg kettlebell to master your SFG/RKC snatch test.

3. A special announcement from the SFG.

I’d appreciate it if you commented or had a question!

Have a great weekend,
Chris

Hey Chris, LOL about the smell in your shoes….Pour a capsule full of hydrogen peroxide in your shoe and problem solved…Have a great day

Never had this issue with any shoe, including my Vibrams – when they get nasty, I just throw them in the washer with normal liquid detergent (not even the “special runner’s detergent”), let them air-dry, and they’re good to go. My current pair has had multiple washes, been soaked during marathons, 100+ degree sprint training days…

Chris, I too like the Adidas Samba’s. I’ve used them for all my training for about 10 years. Thanks for the great reviews!
