Got home this afternoon from a treacherous bike ride with the house nice and clean. I figured it would be a good time to give you a quick tour of our living room and training area and to share some very "excuse-busting" advice….
Enjoy your day,

Hi Chris:
Great natural video. And totally agree with the quality aspect. I know people who spend 2 hours+ at the gym – in one session! What are these people doing? – certainly not working out.
Some of my best workouts last only 10 minutes – for example snatching a kettlebell for 15/15 for 20 sets.
Look forward to another finisher, the KB double clean & burpees ladders were tough and worthwhile – went up and down 3 times for a main workout.
Best wishes

Hi Chris
So try what you said about quality not quantity and time with the family being so important. I like how you are simplifying your life. I stopped going to the gym a few years ago and do all my work outs at home now too – so much easier and means I can still spend time with the family at the same time – even if they are laughing at me. Keep up the good work.

Good video Chris. I agree totally. Not needing much space and having intensity with the workouts is also why I love kettlebell workouts. The whole picture of the healthy lifestyle the rest of those hours we’re not working out is the hardest part for people to grasp….Continually striving to learn.
Thanks,
Julie

@Joe ….. Big up to Joe for recognizing the track playing in the background! That, sir, indeed was Grand Puba’s “I Like It”!!! 90′s hip hop is ALWAYS playing in my house. The kids love it!

Hey Chris… thanks for inviting us into your home and sharing your thoughts on lifestyle etc etc. It’s refreshing and encouraging to hear about people wanting to simplify their lives for a change. I’m from Sydney, Aust and most people I know and know of are all about “more is more”. Hubby and I got rid of our 2nd car when we first got married 5yrs ago. We’ve managed but in saying that we don’t have 5 bambinos either
Today i visited my folks travelling on bike – half hour each way – About 12 km. Trying to stay active between my KB/bodyweight workouts
