The Start & Stop Swing or POWER SWING

One of the main components that I have been working on with my own kettlebell training is my ability to manage fatigue.

I find this especially difficult when I’m swinging either…

1) a very heavy kettlebell (32-36kg or higher)

or

2) double KBs that obviously add up to a high weight as well

So, after doing some research on the "interwebz", I found several really great fatigue management strategies.

The one I’m working on and experimenting with right now is the Start & Stop swing.

Here’s a video of how to do it and why I really like it both as a coaching tool for beginners and as a way to manage fatigue for those of us who want to push a little more and add some challenging volume to our workouts, but still do it safely without the fear of hurting our backs or tearing callouses.
