Today is the first day of school, so I’ve got a quick Kettlebell Workout Video to show you.
With the kids going back to school and everyone struggling to get back "on routine", usually its our workouts that have the tendency to suffer. But we’re not going to let that happen.
I think now especially – when we’ll be rushing to get the kids ready and get lunches made and make sure homework gets done and know when practices/rehearsals/tryouts/auditions are – is when we need to stay on track with our own training.
Sure, we may not be able to devote an hour to our program until we just get our bearings. But definitely DO NOT let all our hard work over the summer slip away by just completely going AWOL for the next few weeks.
Instead, just focus on quick intense 12-minute sessions that will keep us lean and keep our energy levels up. Nothing too fancy or complex. Just focus on working hard over a 12-minute period and GET ‘ER DONE, then get back to your day.
So below, I’ve outlined another 12-minute Kettlebell & Bodyweight Video for you.
Try it out and add it to your workout repertoire this week so that you don’t feel overwhelmed and don’t feel stressed out that you don’t have an hour to devote to training.
Then, after you’ve got a firm grip on things again and the kids are settled-in (and you’re settled in), get back on your TT Kettlebell Revolution Workouts knowing that you haven’t missed a thing.
Happy First Day of School,
Chris

Hey Chris, I know you say this is a 12min workout, but if we add in foam roling and warmupsit’s gonna be at least 30min!

The workout itself should take 10-minutes if you only rest 1 minute between the main superset and the circuit.
A basic dynamic warm up circuit of 2 x 10 rise & shines, push-ups & prisoner reverse lunges will take 2 to 3 minutes.
I don’t recommend foam rolling if you’re pressed for time so long as you’re foam rolling at some point in the day or on your off days.
Hope that clears it up!

Thanks Chris, I have just been given 2 8kg KB for my 40th b’day. I have been doing everything with 5kg dumbells so am really looking forward to doing a KB workout with real KB. Got to keep the old body going up the hill.
Keep up the good work I really enjoy your workouts.
